Lyme Regis Talking Cafe

Since September 2021 we have run a Talking Café every Wednesday from 10am at Hallett Court courtesy of Magna Housing and set up through Social services.  It is very successful and gives residents somewhere to go and chat where they can access signposting and help them on a regular basis.  Older people are still aware of the necessity to keep safe and this provides them with a weekly get together and chat as well as company and a place to keep warm with tea and coffee and biscuits.  A raffle is held each week and every month we have a birthday cake day for people attending who have birthdays in that month. 

At Christmas we made soup with fresh baguettes, mince pies and cream, after eights and tea or coffee.
